A new Dutch law that combines many environment related regulations would come in effect to simplify the procedures to gain approval for construction projects. A new aspect of this law however was the responsibility of involving the public in these projects, both informing them but also allowing citizens to voice their concern or ideas on projects.

Without an actual platform yet existing capable of linking the three parties necessary for this law (governments, developers, and citizens) we set out to develop this platform. We took a lean and design thinking approach on development, first producing a mock-up platform that highlighted the user interface and possible interactions, before continuing actual production.

The original idea won the 2018 Dutch Engineering award, but development was forced to stop in 2020.
